Do’s in Taking Care of Invisalign Aligners

Pack Another Set of Aligners

If your work involves a lot of traveling, it is important that you pack another set of aligners. Invisalign 33143 requires adjustments every few weeks or so. Thus, if you don’t want to delay your treatment, you better pack your next set in the event of an emergency.

Never Leave it Out in the Open

When you’re not wearing your Invisalign, make sure not to leave the tray in the open. Leaving it uncovered will allow dirt, dust, and bacteria to come in contact with your Invisalign 33143. If by chance you forgot to put it back in your container, rinse them in running water. After rinsing, soak the tray in a your Invisalign cleaning solution and rinse it again.

Brushing and Flossing

Before putting the trays back in, make sure that you brushed and flossed. If you put your aligner in without first brushing or flossing your teeth, food particles may get stuck. Overtime, this can lead to the development of cavities and tooth decay.

Soak your Aligners

The most effective way to guarantee that your aligners are clean is to soak them. You can either soak them in Invisalign cleaning solution or denture cleaner. After soaking, remove food particles and plaque off your aligners with an old toothbrush.
